From San Diego to Miami via the Panama Canal

Through the Canal for the forty-sixth time, and it never gets old. Leaving from San Diego was a big plus, and sailing staying on the Azamara Quest for a second leg (back to back) was more than easy.

We visited some of our favorites, and went on some great shore adventures, as you can see:

Huatulco and Copalita… a beautiful town and a nearby Maya site

Tapachula and Izapa… a typical Mexican city and an ancient Maya site

White Night… a party like only Azamara can throw

Nicaragua… Beautiful lake and a visit to an active volcano

Costa Rica… a visit the capital, San Jose to see the National Theater and Gold Museum

Panama Canal Transit… another transit through one of the great wonders of the world

The 2018 Academy Awards… with an Oscar Party on the Quest

National Aviary of Columbia… we were promised one thousand birds, but we saw three times that

Cartagena, Columbia… just enough time to see the little zoo at the visitor’s center
